Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)
« After last years disappointment, Visual Concepts has brought WSB2K2 back to being a excellent baseball series again. »
« A definite improvement over last year’s game, this version offers the best baseball on the Dreamcast, but "All Star Baseball" on the PS2 is still the tops. »
« When you consider the deep pitching and batting mechanics, the improved fielding aspects, the solid control, the awesome visuals, and the online play, WSB2K2 is one of the most solid baseball games on any system and a great sign that the WSB2K series is headed for an almost Yankee-like dominance in the future. »
« The biggest plus of World Series 2K2 has to be the online game mode. »
« Undoubtedly the best baseball game in the Dreamcast history. [Nov 2001, p.109] »
« Despite its frustratingly flawed gameplay, World Series Baseball 2K2 is the Dreamcast's best baseball game. Its graphics are top-notch, the gameplay options are plentiful, and its online play is a nice fringe benefit. »
« If you can forgo the glitches and some oddball lag online, you'll find yourself with a decent game. »
« The lack of a decent camera angle makes fielding a highly frustrating experience. Running under fly balls is not a problem at all. The dilemma is fielding the ground balls. »
