« It isn't perfect, but Zombotron ends up being a darn good tactical shooting title. The enemies aren't pushovers initially, and the inventory and leveling system help the game feel fresh. The dynamic nature of combat also makes the game fun, as you'll run into unexpected ways of dealing with enemies that make you smile. It is a good thing to see that the game is still being tweaked, as an over-reliance on melee doesn't seem to be intentional, while the lack of information on vending machines is a disappointing oversight. Overall, Zombotron is well worth checking out for action fans who want something a little more thoughtful. »

« Colorful explosions and a variety of guns aren’t quite enough to carry Zombotron to the finish line. This all-grown-up Flash game is weighed down by repetitive design, frustrating controls and bland storytelling. Zombotron isn’t a terrible game but neither does it generate much excitement. It’s a reasonably competent side-scroller in a marketplace full of similar titles. Fans of the Flash game will appreciate that Zombotron has evolved, but those unfamiliar with its humble roots might be less impressed. »

« A really nice surprise for me. I enjoy platformer games with nice graphics like Oddworld New and Tasty or Hollow Knight, and there are too few of them! It is a little horror and a little action/sci-fi. I can't agree with the people saying that becomes too difficult. I like the animations, the explorations parts... even crushing the enemies with the monster truck was pretty satisfying. If you like Action-platformer and sci-fi, Zombotron absolutely deserves a try. »

« zombotron isn't a perfect game, but it really feels good with fragmentation physics and explosion physics. Inventory or item drop logic has been handled successfully. this game looks a little better next to the flash game versions, but flash games are really a candidate to be the best flash game. The problem I see is that there is no difficulty setting in the game and this does not pose a serious problem. It is a game where you can have a good time. « Zombotron by Ant.Karlov, Armor Games Studios is a fight to survive, alien/zombie, platform arcade game. You land your ship on this planet to respond to a distress signal. Your only guide is a little robot named Ash. As you make you’re way over, through and under the platforms towards the distress signal you will be faced with a multitude of things such as spike pits, drops, a wide range (and varying levels of difficulty) of zombies and aliens. While doing all this you can, and probably should, search for the hidden rooms, while avoiding breaking too many ropes, boxes and any other physics based items. Vending machines are found in some stages and accept currency that's collected throughout the game on enemies bodies or from selling your old gear. So you do have the option of upgrading your equipment. You also have a choice of explosives, melee or guns. Pros: Highly detailed arcade game, solid art style, wide range of weapons and armor, as well as zombies and aliens. Secret rooms, option of buying med packs, progressively more challenging as the game goes on. Cons: While you can change the armor, you can not character customise. Unable to return to previous levels. Overall: 9. Really entertaining arcade game, challenging and a wide range of things to do, with secret rooms, new weapons and armor, as well as the varying types and levels of enemies in game. »
