TNA Impact!: Cross the Line est sorti le 25 juin 2010 sur Nintendo DS et PlayStation Portable. Développé par Point of View et DoubleTap Games, puis édité par SouthPeak Interactive, il s'agit du premier jeu vidéo portable consacré à la fédération Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. La version DS a été conçue de toutes pièces et propose un effectif réduit mais agrémenté de nouveaux visages comme Hulk Hogan, Creed, Foley et Curry Man. Le jeu introduit un mode carrière inédit, scindé en deux parcours : Bound for Glory, une succession de combats narratifs propres à chaque catcheur, et Victory Road, qui offre la possibilité de dominer la division poids lourds, de constituer une équipe de haut niveau ou de s'imposer dans l'épreuve Ultimate X. De nouveaux types de matchs font leur apparition sur DS, parmi lesquels le Six Sides of Steel, le Cage Match et le Four Corners Match en élimination, sans oublier les formats classiques comme les simples, les tag teams et l'Ultimate X. Les arènes visitées comprennent Orlando, Mexico, Tokyo, Londres, Las Vegas, ainsi qu'un armurerie et le Freedom Center. La presse a livré des avis partagés : Playstation: The Official Magazine a déclaré qu'« There's still some impact here, but the blow is certainly blunted », tandis que Play UK a trouvé le jeu « Not fundamentally bad, just exactly the flippin' same every flippin' time ». Un joueur sur Metacritic a salué un « solid effort for the first time wrestling game developer, while limited it did contain some of the best graphics ».

« TNA impact on the home consoles was a solid effort for the first time wrestling game developer, while limited it did contain some of the best graphics for the genre at the time, and excellent animation. Cross the Line came out sometime later, and nothing of note was put into it during the time between the games. Graphically the game looks superb on the PSP, and the animations look as fluid as the console version, it actually is one of the best console-to-handheld comparisons out there visually. But other than those two features the PSP version doesn't hold up at all. It's mainly due to the controls, with the absents of two shoulder buttons and a missing analog stick, the game really suffers. Gone are the fluid transitions between moves or the ease of springboarding of the ropes. Even finishers are more complicated to pull of due to the limited amount of buttons to execute them. Technically the game is perfect, sound, visuals, animations all transition well, but the controls really hinder the enjoyment to be found compared to the home console version. Couple that with the fact the no budget was given to the game, so no new wrestlers are modeled so instead of replacing the wrestlers who had left the company in the last year, they are simply removed, limiting the already small roster. If you love your wrestling games, this is still worth having alongside the Smackdown Vs Raw games, but just be wary that with the lack of controls on the system, the gameplay has been compromised for the handheld version. »
