Takigawa
The most popular courtesan at Ohgiya in the pleasure district. He conceals a lonely secret in the guise of arrogance.
Asagiri
A free and wild spirit who refuses to be tamed. He is a truly self-indulgent lover of women, and is like a little brother to Takigawa.
Gakuto
A confident and rugged courtesan. He holds a certain ambition, but has a lovable side to him...
Utsusemi
Grew up as an orphan. He holds his companions above all others, but seeks to uncover his true parents.
Ageha
A young man yet to take a customer, knowing neither love nor woman. He is looked after by Gakuto.

Un otome classique et agréable Une héroïne toujours un peu naïve, des routes intéressantes (sauf celle de Gakuto, malsaine, parfois limite violente et dont le dénouement m'a un peu déçue) Dommage que les fins (happy ending et super happy ending) soie...

Super jeu otomé! Nettement mieux que Men of yoshiwara Kikuya. Les personnages sont beaucoup plus beaux, les décors aussi, l'héroîne n'est pas gnangnan comme dans Kikuya. Bref un bel otomé que je recommande aux fans du genre, vaut largement son prix...

« In a lot of ways this is improved from Kikuya in a lot of important ways even though it isn’t as content rich. The lower asking price definitely helps. If you only have a Switch and want to sample the Otome genre, this is a nice entry point. »
« The Men of Yoshiwara: Ohgiya is a pretty little romance game which does everything adequately, but not exceptionally. It's a little light on content, some of the bachelor's stories aren't terribly interesting or engaging, and it would really benefit from some additional background and character art, but benefits from beautiful splash art and a stronger female protagonist than the last Yoshiwara title. »
« As a premise, the Men of Yoshiwara games are something we should see more of - novels and particularly decide-your-destiny type books would be more than welcome on Nintendo's system. There's not enough new here to justify a purchase if you already have the first game, though - go for one or the other unless you're a genre fanatic. »
