Continuing where the last game ended, the forces of CANY had been demolished by the previous Strikers' line-up. However, a small group known as the FGR stole the sources and technology responsible for the last events and planned to continue CANYs work by initiating world-warfare with massive mech technology. Once again, the Strikers are called into action.

Strikers 1945 II is a vertical-scrolling shooter game that first appeared in arcades in 1997.
The new "Super Shot" is a flashy special attack that consumes your gauge to release.
It's more strategic and exhilarating than ever!
You can set the difficulty level, life, number of continues,
controls, screen orientation, and more.
In addition, now we have online rankings!

Planes:
- World War II-era fighters are here, and you can fly six different types of planes, each with unique features.
- Power up with the "P" item.
- Get bombs with the "B" item to wipe out enemy bullets and evade your foes!
- Unleash the "Super Shot" to take down your enemies!
Arcade mode:- 7 levels of difficulty can be selected for beginners.
- Now players can really test out their skills with a "HARD" and "VERY HARD" mode. We're looking for recruits who are up for the test.
- Local rankings will support all difficulty levels and your own planes.
Options:- The vertical screen mode that allows you to play in arcade style like back in the day.
- Select the screen filter from the normal +2 version.
- You can set the number of lives from 1 to 9 and the number of continues from 0 to unlimited.
- Assign "Shot", "Auto Shot" and "Bomb" in the key configuration.
- The vertical screen mode can be operated in the horizontal mode as well! Now enjoy a completely different gameplay.
Score Attack:- This is a new feature that has a very severe mode with a fixed difficulty level and number of lives..

« Despite common criticisms against Strikers 1945, Strikers is a very good game. Despite its lack of story, and its short game, Strikers manages to ace one aspect **** that very few others can pull of: it was an extremely difficult game (One of the most difficult of all time, at that), yet it never tempted the player to quit mid-game. They managed to keep the difficulty at max while keeping the game playable, fun, and not frustrating. I would laugh at myself for running into that one bullet, or for not using my airstrike, and even if I get to the part where you have to restart the level, I would still continue playing without a second thought. Even at that, Strikers 1945 is a great way to test your flying skills and reaction time while keeping the mechanics pretty basic. All you have is your plane, your charge attack, your airstrike, and a crap-ton of enemies that are 10 times your size, and 10 times the difficulty. »
