Vous conduisez votre supercar des années 80, vous vous arrêtez sur un bord de route, vous sortez de votre voiture, vous restez debout, le coude appuyé sur la portière de votre bolide, la brise du vent entre dans vos cheveux, la fumée de votre cigarette s'élève et se disperse vers le ciel alors que vous regardez ce couché de soleil qui vous parait éternel... Voici l'expérience de nostalgie unique que Retrowave World souhaite donner au joueur. Oubliez votre travail, oubliez les bouchons sur la route, oubliez vos problèmes... Imaginez-vous vivre dans ce monde remplie de néons et de nostalgie.
En écoutant de la Synthwave / Retrowave / Vaporwave la plupart des gens ont eu cette sensation de nostalgie pour une époque qu'ils n'ont pas connus ou qui n'a jamais existé.
La Retrowave s'inspire énormément des années 80, mais est surtout une version futuriste idéalisé des années 80.
