Rebots is where complex automation systems meet wacky! As a new employee at Rebots Corporation, you’re sent to the remote Asteroid Field to help quirky aliens settle on their rocky little land of choice. They’ve got sass and character, but most importantly, they’ve got a LOT of needs for you to fulfill! With a bunch of tools, robots, and gizmos, you’ll be able to terraform those dull rocks into flourishing lands. Travel through diverse biomes, gather resources, set up production lines, and get that money rolling into the bank account!
Histoire (IGDB)
You’re a new hire at the Rebots Corporation. You’ve been sent to a new exciting frontier known by the locals simply as “The Asteroid Field”. But due to cost cutting your star cruiser had a rough landing and crashed into the local Spaceport. The inhabitants are a bit peeved at you, but it’s hard to tell how much is genuine frustration and what’s them trying to wring glibs out of you. Either way, you’re here now and it’s time to start your new job! Sybastian is the only other Reboteer in the area and serves as your mentor. He cares for the Spaceport and his job and hopes you’ll do a good job (even though the Corporation forgot about his existence). That’s the extent of your relationship. Previous hires? He doesn’t talk about that. The spacebus the player uses belongs to Sybastian. He loaned it to you since the star cruiser got busted. It's only suitable for local travel.

C'est bien mignon de faire ami-ami avec des extra-terrestres et d'apprivoiser d'adorables créatures, mais votre spatioport ne va pas s'améliorer tout seul. Acceptez de nouveaux contrats et de nouvelles quêtes pour recevoir des récompenses !

1.0.3.1 Patch - Fix for grass visual glitch
Hej folks, We've attempted to track down the issue with what was posted in the forums related to a weird grass visual glitch. The issue has been hard to reproduce for us. Our best guess is that this is happening on dedicated AMD GPUs as our development machines all have Nvidia GPUs and we can't see the issue happening at all. We've disabled some grass optimisation features that were put in post-launch to see if it alleviates the issue. Hej Reboteers, Update 3 is ready and it's a doozy! Thank you all for your patience in getting you this update! Update 3 patch notes: New Features Added 23 achievements for you completionists (also fully localised to supported languages) Enabled Steam Cloud Saves so you should be able to pick up where you left off on your Steam Decks Improvements Major performance improvements on asteroids when it's starting to fill up with lots of entities Bug Fixes Fix objective indicator (exclamation mark !) showing up above the Spaceport when there aren't any new jobs available Stone deposits were missing from the museum once scanned - they've now been added to the mineral display Fixed a rare infinite loading screen bug that caused a certain landmark to be duplicated infinitely on the asteroid Fixed a mistranslation in Japanese for an objective to Deliver X Merryberry Seeds To Mailbox A small note regarding full completion for the game: Reaching CEO rank will now unlock the remaining locked entries in the codex. This is because our procedurally generated asteroids do not guarantee with 100% certainty that all entities spawn (this is particularly risky for certain landmarks).
