« NTE is a game that feels like it’s constantly pulling you in different directions, yet somehow still holds together as a cohesive experience. It wants to be a gacha RPG, a city life simulator, a driving game, a management sandbox, and a narrative-driven anomaly hunter all at once. And instead of collapsing under that weight, it actually becomes a strong foundation to support how its systems interact and flow with each other. Of course, that ambition isn’t perfectly refined yet. Some systems still lean a bit too simple and story pacing can break immersion when level locks interrupt momentum. But even with those rough edges, the important part is that NTE never feels aimless. It commits to what it is trying to be—a multi-layered city RPG where everyday life and anomaly-driven chaos coexist. »

« If you like urban open worlds with life sim elements, then it’s impossible not to recommend NTE right now. This game has one of the most beautiful, vibrant sandbox settings I’ve seen in some time – and despite some irksome characters, I’m generally enjoying its plot so far, which blends slice of life mangas with sci-fi horror. The gacha business model is understandably not going to resonate with everyone, but at launch this is one of the more generous games in the genre thus far. And the sheer number of things to do day one, from managing coffee shops to beating down possessed DJ decks in DDR-style rhythm battles, is simply unprecedented. »

« Neverness to Everness was a gacha game that took a lot of my time. It has a little of everything in this game. Supernatural fights, car stealing, fishing, bank heists, and everything in between. Since it is a combination of a lot of elements from other games, it doesn’t do as much as those specific games can. It is still a fun time. »

Everyeye.it 75/100

« Neverness To Everness is a perhaps overly ambitious title that attempts to do a little bit of everything without truly excelling in any single aspect. Indeed, while all of the game's components are enjoyable, none of them truly leave a lasting impression; ultimately, one ends up appreciating the sheer variety of the offering more than its actual quality. All of this translates into an experience that is certainly entertaining during the first few hours of gameplay, but one that risks faltering in its attempt to sustain player engagement over the long haul. It is now up to the developers, therefore, to rise to the challenge through post-launch support that simultaneously adds new content and refines what is already available. »

IGN Italia 75/100

« Neverness to Everness is an ambitious open-world gacha game overflowing with content, whose greatest strength lies in the city of Hethereau and the wide variety of activities it offers, ranging from exploration and management to combat. The gacha system is surprisingly generous compared to the standards of the genre and helps make the experience accessible even to free-to-play users, while the sandbox structure can keep players engaged for dozens of hours. On the other hand, some fairly evident limitations emerge: the combat system is functional but lacks depth and fails to compete with the best titles in the genre; the narrative struggles to find an engaging pace in this 1.0 version; and the cast of characters does not leave a particularly strong impression, either in terms of writing or character design. »

Vandal 75/100

« Neverness to Everness delivers a refreshing urban gacha experience that successfully blends GTA-style sandbox activities with vibrant anime aesthetics. Although its combat lacks depth and menu navigation feels cumbersome, the sheer variety of side content and a generous monetization model make it a compelling free-to-play adventure despite its superficial mechanics. »

Gameliner 70/100

« NTE: Neverness to Everness delivers a stylish and surprisingly varied gacha experience, packed with activities and strong presentation. While none of its systems truly stand out, the mix of vibes and accessible progression make it easy to sink hours into. The real test will be its long-term support, but for now, NTE has all the ingredients to become a lasting hit. »

GamingBolt 70/100

« NTE: Neverness to Everness won't set the free-to-play world on fire, but it's still a surprisingly strong debut effort with a solid foundation. »

« I'm about 30 hours in and I do feel a bit disappointed with this game. I can't help but think it would have been much better as a fleshed out open world full priced AAA game. Personally I would have been willing to pay full price for it and bought the future missions and characters as one off cost expansions. There's a lot of padding between the main missions and even some between the side and character missions. I do like that each main mission is structured like a self contained anime episode, although 5 "episodes" in and it's clear that it doesn't have a well written plot or a clear plot goal yet. The menu system with a controller is terrible, It uses a weird system of having separate actions for both the dpad and the analogue stick. Sometimes X selects objects, sometimes it's circle or even square. Sometimes exiting a menu that it took you 2-3 diffrent menus to get into takes our out of all menus that you went through to get into this specific menu instead of just going back one step. Locking onto items in the map is so bad it's pure luck if you can get some of the icons at all. It's all fixable but man is it weird that not only did it launch like this but 3 months latter it's still an issue. There's also a lot of bugs in this game, like menus failing to appear and cameras getting locked in place. I've had to reset the game several times during my playtime. It also suffers from the flaws of all gattcha games, introduce a character, short story segment, have players pull for them, never hear from that character again. There's potential here but it feels like they rushed it out the door, add in gottcha game fatigue and I can see a lot of people dropping this. »

« The game is really good but I think it's too short I finished it in two hours. I know it was only version 1.1, but it would be better if they added more quests in updates.(I have like 91hours) »

« Hi. I've been playing for more than 48 hours total. Honestly? Despite being at v1.1 only, this game is so much more playable than anything I've played recently. I haven't had any problems with this game since launch, and haven't had to spend money either. Yes, it can get boring. But, it's open world. That's not for everybody, but it is for me. Highly recommend <3 »

« Its a gatcha game in a city, the combat gives me a headache and the dodge window is massive and easy... boring and not really that fun. Way too many combinations of anime genres and concepts in one game... characters just appear through the game so character development is weak... all the characters are baked, which is also boring for character progression. Overall too much purple. 4/10 being generous »

« It's one of the best gacha games I played. It's more gener It looks beautiful, the story is good, the setting is good with the anomalies there is a lot of thing that can happen. The gacha system is much fairer to f2p players like other games. I played like 20+ hours already. »

« This is just some odd free2play game that is hard to enjoy after getting through the initial introduction phase. I can see how there is probably a crowd for this game but that doesn't seem to be me. I came to check out the open world and driving and it's just really boring, the car physics are very weak, vehicles generally move slow, and there is no real collision with other cars, and characters and cars just sort of appear in front of you out of nowhere. You can't really mess around with the game and if you do you will get the attention of law enforcement that will throw you in a prison where you need to spend days of game time just hanging out in a cell. The combat is probably the highlight here and it's just your basic real time 3'rd person action/RPG sort of experience. The visuals are nice for that anime cartoony graphics but overall I just couldn't stay interested when I have so many better games to play. It's definitely the type of game that seems to demand large time investment to really get anywhere or for you to spend money to get things. Can't recommend this unless you're a big fan of it's style of combat. »

« as a gacha game its pretty good the combat feels fast and flashy also the moves look good , the character design it cool and they are pretty . however outside of combat the game is **** boring the same **** races and deliveries the only fun thing is the pink paws hiest . fons are stupid grindy and for what ? stupid cars for the same said races . the apartments are stupid blowing millions a time for silly furniture stats the dont really matter apart from the extra pixels and realm of greed ... i do like the game even though this rant may seem other wise im just disappointed and am hoping anata comes soon »
