Histoire (IGDB)
Fazbear Entertainment has become extremely unpopular due to several incidents and disasters that allegedly occurred at their various locations over the years, which have been established as urban legends. The problem is aggravated by a horror video game series based on the legends, created by an unnamed indie developer. In an attempt to overturn the bad reputation these rumors gave the company, Fazbear Entertainment commissioned the "Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience", a virtual reality game meant to make light of the rumors and convince players that those events were completely fictitious. However, this narrative is contradicted by sixteen cassette tapes hidden throughout the game, which contain logs recorded by one of the game's developers. Meant as a warning for future players, the tapes expose a lawsuit happening during the game's development, involving an incident with a past employee, Jeremy, that put the game's completion in jeopardy. In addition, the tapes reveal that Fazbear Entertainment hired the unnamed indie developer to create the video game series based on the alleged legends, before cutting ties with him; the games were part of an elaborate ploy to discredit the rumors surrounding the company. Most importantly, the tapes warn of a malicious code that was uploaded to the game from an old circuit board. This code takes the form of a sinister character known as Glitchtrap, who appears as a humanoid in a rabbit costume. Glitchtrap is ultimately revealed to be attempting to escape from the game by merging with the player. After the non-VR version was released, there was a door in a level that leads to a snowy Christmas tree farm. In the distance, there is a silhouette of a large building being constructed by Fazbear Entertainment, with a nearby billboard showing that they are now hiring.

Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)
« Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted is the real deal. »
« Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted offers delicious bite size horror VR experiences, and the variety of the offer will make you overlook the series' known defects. »
« Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted scares in an ingenious and original way and ensures several hours of chills and jumping out of your chair. What more do you want from a VR horror game? »
« In addition to being frighteningly dense in terms of content, Help Wanted is also the most terrifying and anxious episode in Scott Cawthon's horror saga. »
« This is probably the best game in the series. A fantastic collection of jump scares, but in a way that makes more sense that ever before. »
« While it may be difficult to play for very long before your heart rate spikes, it delivers the most consistent and unnerving jumps of any VR horror game out there, held back only by its repetition and lack of variety — both of which are still worth overlooking. »
« Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted is a great introduction to the franchise, packaging a number of levels from various games in the series. Though the first three games are the strongest, some of the other levels are fun in their own right. Less fun is wrestling with the controls, particularly since a giant demonic chicken is going to scream in your face if you mess up. The scares are there, but the controls could use some additional polish. »
« One of the most unique terror games out there now available for the VR market. Despite some move-tracking problems (specially with the DualShock 4 pad), it´s a really intriguing title. »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« A good horror game that is revolutionary for the FNAF franchise, with so-so graphics, very interesting mini-games, and a somewhat confusing story that really divided the community. I have a few words to sum up this game: Good, but with a story that’s way too confusing. »
« [SPOILER ALERT: This review contains spoilers.] »
« me encanto este juego muy bueno la verdad vale la pena en mi opinion gracias scott. »
« garbage, unfit for release. half of the modes are boring, fnaf remakes are broken. »
« Almost perfect adapttation of classic fnaf with cool new mechanics.Story is flawed and the game is only scary in vr »
« It is not designed for flat mode. Some mini games are virtually impossible playing with a standard controller. Needs a patch very, very badly. »
« it is a GREAT game. just great. no real criticism. so play it, stop reading this. go play it. STOP READING THIS GO PLAY »
« This is a masterpice. it is a fnaf game.FNAF is worlds best game series.... »
