Phantom Liberty is a spy-thriller expansion for the open-world action RPG Cyberpunk 2077. The narrative centers on the aftermath of the President of the New United States of America's orbital shuttle being shot down over Dogtown, one of Night City’s most dangerous districts. Players control V, a mercenary tasked with navigating a complex web of espionage and political intrigue. The expansion introduces Dogtown, a heavily militarized, autonomous zone ruled by a strict and authoritarian leader. With support from NUSA sleeper agent Solomon Reed (voiced by Idris Elba) and returning character Johnny Silverhand (voiced by Keanu Reeves), players engage in a story involving shifting alliances and covert operations. Designed for next-generation hardware, Phantom Liberty features new gameplay mechanics, side activities, and a main storyline centered on themes of power, trust, and survival.

Meilleur DLC de tous les temps selon tout le monde (Eole et moi). Juste une dinguerie cinématographique. Puis la musique Phantom Liberty... digne d'un 007 mais Cyberpunk (merci pour le Vinyle).

With the core already finished, developers were able to focus on world building, surprising story twists and side quests. « With Cyberpunk 2077 version 2.0 and Phantom Liberty combined, the result is undeniable: this game is excellent. The original game is drastically improved, if not transformed, by the combination of the free 2.0 and paid Phantom Liberty additions. Meanwhile, Phantom Liberty itself is an all-time great expansion, taking all of the best elements of Cyberpunk 2077 and cranking them all up to eleven into an excellent stand-alone narrative in its own right. If Cyberpunk 2077 had released in this state, it might’ve been lauded as an instant classic, an all-time great - but the fact that this has arrived two years late shouldn’t detract too much from the strength of the experience. »

« This DLC is probably in the top3 of all time, in competition with other CDPR ones. If the whole game would have been like this at the start it would have been top1 RPG ever. The main story is fantastic, has different scenery, hiding, stealth, parties, shows a different face of Night City. The extra area is not too big, just perfect sized. We also have new side gigs, now they have some story behind it which is far better than just "kill these guys", endings are great, the characters are very very detailed and complex. New talents are okay, looking forward to the next game, this should be the model for it. »
