Thousands of aliens, zombies, giant spiders, mutant lizards, and more are on the attack - can you survive the onslaught? In Crimsonland you will unlock new weapons and perks constantly improving your abilities and arsenal. Your screen will be filled with literally hundreds of monsters and thousands of giblets. Grab your gun and prepare for endless hours of intense top-down shooter fun!
The original Crimsonland was released in 2003. After the game was greenlit at the end of 2013, 10tons decided to give the game a complete tune-up. The brand new 2014 version introduces countless gameplay fixes, a new chapter with new enemies, new perks, and new weapons. On top of that we've done a complete art overhaul!
What are perks? Perks are like talents in an RPG game. You earn XP by killing monsters and with XP you earn levels. After leveling up you get to choose a perk. For example, a perk called Fastloader enables you to reload extremely fast. During a session perks will stack up a and every game will be a bit different. You'll unlock perks during the quest mode after which they become available in the survival game modes.
We've created a huge arsenal of 30 unique weapons ranging from the humble pistol to the mysterious Shrinkifier 5k. The weapons are unlocked by playing the quest mode and they become available in survival game modes as well. The better your arsenal - the better chances you have at scoring higher outside the quest mode.
Crimsonland features up to four player local co-op. All game modes including the quest can be played in co-op mode. There are also separate leaderboards for co-op games so gather your friends and show the internet who wields the gauss shotgun like a pro!
- Quest mode with six chapters
- FIVE survival modes: Survival, Rush, Blitz, Weapon Picker, and Nukefism
- 30 unique weapons
- 55 awesome perks
- Steam leaderboards: global and friends
- Steam achievements & stats
- Full controller support
- Up to four player local co-op

Avis des joueurs Steam
J'adore.

« This is a classic. And like its PC brother it still is a challenging straight forward top-down two-stick shooter that I can’t get enough of. »
« It's unpretentious and straight-forward in its delivery, and yet, underneath its façade rests an addictive top-down shooter with solid mechanics and a hardcore slant. »
« If you like retro shooters and relax by blowing stuff up, Crimsonland is an easy way to spend a few afternoons as long as you don't expect anything groundbreaking. Some of you may want to stay away unless you have constant access to couch co-op, as it can overstay its welcome after every mission is said and done. »
« While it makes an excellent party game, I’m not sure that I see Crimsonland having much longevity beyond that. It will definitely come out from time to time when I want to coordinate with friends or family to kill all the things, but it’s not particularly memorable as more than a retro action shooter brought back to life on PS4. »
« An average but fun 2D Arena Shooter that provides some fun distraction. »
« Crimsonland feels like an incomplete game. It has all the gameplay mechanics in place, but its backgrounds, character assets, music, and general presentation look and sound like they were put in for testing purposes while awaiting the real art and music to arrive. The twin-stick shooting at the core is fun, but the experience can’t help but be diminished by nearly every other aspect of the game. »
« Crimsonland is a fun game to sit down with two or more players while trying to compete for a spot on the leaderboards, but it ultimately feels more like a distraction itself, than a twin-stick murderfest without distractions. »
« Crimsonland's antiquated, cookie-cutter gameplay doesn't break new ground at all, but beneath the copious amounts of blood saturating the screen, you'll find that there's still some fun to be had in this mindless mutant massacre fest. »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« Fun co op game, you can have some enjoyment playing it with a friend. It is pretty short yes, but there is different modes that you can do, it is a remake of an old school game back in the 2000ish. »
« The game is a basic top view shooter with hordes of monsters. Now I enjoy the game, especially since you can play with up to 3 friends offline. I can however not really recommend it if you don't have a nostalgic feeling for it. It is repetitive, the perks (which is the most fun part of the game) is not in quest mode (wich is the biggest part of the game), The little extra games they have to mix it up a bit are boring. They haven't upgraded anything of notice since it came out in 2003. Small ideas that would of made it better: Customizable character Better equality of the guns (some are just sooo much better or worse than the rest). More guns. MORE PERKS! Levels with walls Levels with quests Challanges Co-op boosts (like a button to hook up back to back with your friends and gett no reloads as you can only look around and not move). That's just from the top of my head and not hard to program. (Maybe the questpart isn't that easy or smart but the rest.) »
« this is a fun little indi game, if I had to describe it to somebody I would say its like resogun but on land instead of the air, not as good but still a great game, I will recommend this to anyone who enjoys fun games »
« It's a one trick twin stick shooter, but what it does it does competently and with a bit of challenge. Basically you (and up to 3 others in couch co-op) blast everything that moves, collect weapons and perks, and chase high scores. It's graphics are crude and it's story is non-existent, but I'm still having fun with this one. The combat mechanics are sound, the waves of enemies are just varied enough to keep it interesting, and the perks and weapons are varied enough to accommodate a variety of play styles. In co-op, it's basically a crude hoard mode, which suits me just fine. This one won't keep your interest beyond a couple of hours of score chasing, but it's cheap and in my opinion, worth the low price. »
« ****: Ok. The first experience I've had with 10Ton studios was with King Oddball, and it was actually on tablet. Then I got it for PS4. I skipped their Zuma clone, but I had to give this a try. First things first. If your going to pay for this game, get it now. While it's on sale for the $7 with PS+. Seriously I've had more fun with it than Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition. The graphics are absolutely nothing to rave about, and there is nothing really more to the game but shooting. You can get combo's, and pick up power ups though. It is packed FULL of content though. It has 50ish levels in it's "campaign", then 4 different survival modes. Online leader boards, and some fun trophies. If your going to spend $7 on PSN right now get this game. »
