SPIL GAMES
Spil Games was a Dutch video game developer based in Hilversum. In 2012, it was reported that Spil Games' U.S.-based tween girl GirlsGoGames.com was one of the top websites that U.S. girls visited when online. Girls most frequently played games that involved cooking, dress-up, and quizzes. The most popular game girls played on GirlsGoGames.com was Pet Party. In total, Spil Games expanded its segmented and localized approach with more than 50 websites where people can play games online in 20 languages. 80% of its games are from third-party developers, as of 2012. This reaches a large audience of 190 million monthly users on average. In September 2014, the company reorganised, closing its Dutch development studio and concentrating on mobile game publishing.
Telltale Games

In the midst of releasing The Walking Dead: The Final Season, the company was forced to initiate a "majority studio closure" after their last investor had pulled out of funding. Telltale announced on September 21, 2018, that it had let go of all but 25 of its staff as part of this closure, with the remaining skeleton crew completing specific obligations, such as finishing the Minecraft: Story Mode project porting to Netflix. Telltale Games filed for assignment in October 2018.

Full Control was an independent Danish video game developer based in Copenhagen. In 2015, Full Control had to cease further development of Flashback due to financial difficulties and close the studio.

BAM! Entertainment
BAM! Entertainment was an American game publisher, formed in San Jose, California in October 1999 by Ray Musci. The company name was derived from its trade name, Bay Area Multimedia. BAM! had distribution deals with Cartoon Network, Ubisoft, Disney and Sony, as well as a British development office located in London, England. In 2002, BAM! suffered from financial difficulties, which threatened to get them delisted from NASDAQ. Their London office was purchased by VIS Entertainment in 2004, but that company closed a year later. Following the expiration of their deal with Ubisoft, BAM! signed a deal with Acclaim Entertainment that same year, but this would also end when Acclaim went bankrupt not long afterwards. BAM! then acquired VIS, and the two companies went bankrupt by the end of 2005.

Founded in 1994, NEXON Co., Ltd. is a company engaged in the production, development and operation of online games and Virtual Worlds. First listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in December 2011, Nexon was placed on JPX400 in 2015 and added to the Nikkei Stock Index 300 in 2017. In 2020, Nexon was added to the Nikkei 225. Nexon currently has more than 50 live games on multiple platforms including mobile and available in more than 190 countries. Major game franchises include Maple Story, KartRider and Dungeon&Fighter. In 2021, Nexon completed the acquisition of Embark Studios AB, a company based in Stockholm, Sweden, developing multiple projects for global release.
