Square Enix Product Development Division 9
After the merging with Enix Corporation, this department was created solely dedicated to handle their flagship franchise: Dragon Quest. In late 2013, Square Enix would go to a corporate restructure that would introduce the Business Division system. Main development of the Dragon Quest franchise would be handed to Business Division 6.
Little Chicken Game Company B.V.
"Little Chicken is an Amsterdam (Holland) based game company, specialised in the development of digital entertainment. Takara
Takara Co., Ltd. (株式会社タカラ, Kabushiki gaisha Takara) was a Japanese toy company founded in 1955. In March 2006, the company merged with Tomy Company, Ltd. to form Takara Tomy. The Takara motto was「遊びは文化」("playing is culture").
Brøderbund Software
Brøderbund began in the early 1980s in Eugene, Oregon. Galactic Empires, Prince of Persia and Lode Runner had an immediate impact on the gaming industry. Successes grew and continued for years, Myst ranked as the highest grossing home computer game. The company was dissolved shortly after acquisition by The Learning Company (formerly SoftKey) though its name persists as one of the company's several brands.

Formed after the merging with Enix Corporation, this division would specialize the SaGa and Crystal Chronicles series. Upon the creation of the Business Division system in 2013, Crystal Chronicles would have become a dormant series; meanwhile SaGa would be managed in other teams such as Business Divisions 3 and 8.

07th Expansion
7th Expansion is a Japanese dōjin circle that specializes in the creation of visual novels known as sound novels. They started out drawing for the trading card game Leaf Fight, but they are known for creating the dōjin game series Higurashi When They Cry and Umineko When They Cry. They were also involved in the additional console editions of Higurashi produced by Alchemist, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Matsuri for the PlayStation 2 and the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kizuna series for the Nintendo DS.

Sega Corporation
Sega Corporation was the legal successor to Sega Enterprises which came into being on 1st November, 2000. It was then when the company established the system of having ten different subsidiaries each with their own brand. These were WOW Entertainment, Sega AM2, Hitmaker, Amusement Vision, Sega Rosso, Smilebit, Overworks, Sonic Team, United Game Artists and Wave Master. Sega Corporation then took care of production and marketing work. This structure was disbanded in July of 2004. In the 1st of April 2015, it was split into Sega Games and Sega Interactive.
