Bullet-Proof Software
Bullet-Proof Software Inc. (BPS) was a Japanese video game developer founded in 1983 by Henk Rogers. At first it would acquire fame by the creation of NEC PC-8801 RPG The Black Onyx, however fate would tie the company with the involvement of the Famicom and Game Boy versions of Tetris. In 1996, Rogers would fund Blue Planet Software Inc. in Honolulu, Hawaii as a successor of the original Japanese company, they would continue developing Tetris games using the same BPS initials. On February 22nd, 2001, Bullet-Proof Software would close it's doors.

Rockstar Vancouver (formerly Barking Dog Studios) was a Canadian video game developer and a studio of Rockstar Games based in Vancouver. The studio is best known for developing Bully. In July 2012, Rockstar Games merged Rockstar Vancouver into Rockstar Toronto, with Rockstar Vancouver's thirty-five employees being given the option to relocate to Rockstar Toronto or any other Rockstar Games studio.

The company was established by former members of EA Vancouver - Derek MacNeil (Development Director), Shyang Kong (Senior Producer), and Steven Silvester (Technical Director) - who had collaborated on sports franchises including FIFA, Need for Speed, NBA Live, and NHL.
